We are a little surprised at how few stores sell transmission oil (aka gear oil). All scooters have transmissions and all of them use a transmission fluid that need to be replaced at certain intervals. Here we have Maxima brand SAE 90 (80w90).

This is used in many scooters, below is a list of some... This is what to use when your scooter calls for SAE 90 or 80W-90. Check your owners manual.

Vespa ET2/4, LX 50/150, GT200, GTS250, MP3, etc (pretty much all Piaggio/Vespa models)
Kymco People 50,125,150
& Many more

We recommend changing the gear oil about every year to a year and a half for automatics. You will also need a syringe for adding the gear oil. See our item "Syringe for Gear Oil" for that.
