The legendary Motul 710! Scooter riders across the globe have been using this brand and series of oil for years and years. We have been using it both in our personal scooters and in our shop since day one. It's definitely one of (if not) the best 2 stroke oils out there. It is a synthetic oil that burns clean, leaving much less deposits in the exhausts than the cheaper oils out there. No one wants a clogged pipe and slower scooter, so we highly recommend using Motul brand.

This oil can be used on injector type 2 strokes (Stella, Vespa P-Series, Buddy 50, Kymco 50, etc) as well as used for older pre-mix scooters.

*Avoid cheap generic 2 stroke oil you find at Wal-Mart or wherever that has a picture of a chainsaw or tiller on it. Stick with a good scooter or motorcycle specific oil.

Although we like fully synthetic Motul brand 710 series oil, the Maxima " is a great "value" choice for 2 stroke motor oil. It's formulated specifically for scooters and will do the job just fine. It's about 1000 times better than the cheap generic 2 stroke oil you find at Wal-Mart that has a picture of a chainsaw on it. Stick with a good oil.

Approved for oil injector and premix use.

We are a little surprised at how few stores sell transmission (aka gear oil). All scooters have transmissions and all of them use a transmission fluid that need to be replaced at certain intervals. Here we have Motul Brand Transoil SAE 30 equivalent for use in your Genuine Stella and every Vespa that calls for SAE 30 in the gearbox (pretty much every old Vespa ever made).

We recommend changing the gear oil about every year for the manual transmission scooters. You will also need a syringe for adding the gear oil. See our item "Syringe for Gear Oil" for that.

Genuine Motor Oil Synthetic JASO FD, ISO-L-EGD 2-Stroke Engine Oil is a high performance fully synthetic 2-stroke engine oil specifically designed to meet the requirements set forth by the JASO FD and ISO-L-EGD 2-stroke engine oil specifications. This product is considered a low smoke, low ash fluid that can be used in 2-stroke scooters, motorcycles, golf carts, chainsaws, leaf blowers and weedeaters.

This product can be used in premix systems or in direct oil injection systems in accordance with equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.

Genuine Motor Oil Synthetic JASO FD, ISO-L-EGD 2-Stroke Engine Oil meets the following service specifications:

Please call or email to schedule an appointment before bringing your scooter in.  Scooters are accepted during business hours so please do not leave your scooter outside our building after store hours.  If you experience a problem regarding our repairs on your scooter, please bring it back within 30 days so we can make it right.  Vehicles that are not picked up upon completion after 3 business days will be charged storage fees of $10/day unless arrangements are made with management.  After 30 days property will be considered abandoned and sold.

We DO NOT work on off-brand scooters made in China unless they can get to us under their own power and are approved by management.  
 
We DO NOT work on legacy vehicles (scooters that are out of production) unless they can get to us under their own power and are approved by management. 

We DO NOT work on mopeds (gas powered vehicles with pedals), Honda Express, Trails, or Passports.  

We DO NOT work on motorcycles. 

We DO NOT work on stand up kick scooters unless it is a brand that we sell.

We DO NOT work on electric bicycles unless it is a brand that we sell.

We have a waiting list if you need work on Vintage Vespas.  Please do not drop off your vintage Vespa unless we have called you to bring it in.
